Jose Bastidas

I am a member of the Laboratoire d’Algèbre, de Combinatoire et d’Informatique Mathématique (LACIM), a research center at the Université du Québec à Montréal, and a chargé de cours at the École de Technologie Supérieure.

I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Cornell University, working with Marcelo Aguiar. During my time at Cornell, I also obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, I completed both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, working with Mauricio Velasco.
